One Direction to split: permanently this time

After five highly successful LPs, countless awards, and six years of die-hard love from their loyal fans, Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson, Liam Payne and Harry Styles are going their separate ways to pursue their own individual passions and settle down. They did not renew their contract this past October. That will make “Made in the A.M.” the band’s fifth and final LP. The group began to fall apart in March of 2015 when Zayn Malik exited the band to pursue his own solo career. He currently is in the top of the charts with his new single “PILLOWTALK.” Each member is said to pursue their own careers, but not all of them not necessarily in music. Payne has shown interest in songwriting and production. Tomlinson welcomed his first son, Freddie, into the world in January and the first-time dad will most likely be preoccupied with family for the time being. Horan pans to set up his own golf agency. Styles split from the One Direction’s management team, Modest Management, on February 1st and has signed with Jeffrey Azoff. He is reported to seek out an acting career in addition to a solo music career. One Direction released its emotional music video to their song “History” at the beginning of January, with home videos of the band throughout the years. Some hopefuls believe that a permanent split is merely a rumor, but sources confirm that it’s more likely than not that teenage girls’ hearts will be broken all over the world.
