Ouija

Ouija, the scariest remake of the year and has some silly moments but for a horror film shouldn’t that be rare? the movie starts off introducing the first character that doesn’t stick around long, Debbie (Shelley Hennig) finds an antique ouija board in a broom closet of her vacant home. She decides to play this “spirit game” all by her lonesome and ends up hanging from her own ceiling. Later on her friend and close companion Laine (Olivia Cooke) hears about Debbie’s terrible death and decides to contact her so she can say goodbye but instead contacts a demon who calls itself DZ

throughout the entire movie it’s just odd things happening to Laine and she is still very clueless to what is happening and that’s just the first half of the movie. I have read other reviews of this movie and they all seem to have more bad outcomes instead of good ones. the movie has very unsettling suspense points that get you at the edges of your seat and you expect a good scare, sadly there aren’t a lot in there, very surprising for a horror film.

Don’t get me wrong even the trailer gives you a little goose bumps, and it actually sounds pretty interesting to watch. And might just be one of the best ouija remakes since ouija 2014. The plot is just changed up just a bit but is still very very scary! and they say “it’s just a game”.
