Twenty One Pilots
Tyler Joseph and Josh Dun have been taking music by storm, with their sudden gain in popularity during this past year. With their debut album Twenty One Pilots coming out in 2009, the duo started the band in 2009 in Columbia, Ohio. Now with their most recent album, Vessel, coming out in 2013, this band started to pick up fans when they opened for the “Save Rock and Roll” tour with Fall Out Boy and Panic! at the Disco.
With their recent performance at the Chipotle Cultivate festival here in Arizona, Twenty One Pilots is putting their final touches on their new album, Blurryface, set to come out May 19.
In an interview with MTV, lead singer Tyler Joseph said, “Blurryface is a character and it’s a guy that kinda represents what I am as an individual, and maybe everyone around me may be insecure about.”
“Stressed Out”, “Fairly Local”, “Lane Boy” and “Tear in My Heart” are all singles from the new album, with music videos recently released for “Stressed Out”, “Fairly Local” and “Tear in My Heart.”
“My insecurities can get the best of me,” Joseph said. “I think I have a fear of suffocation, and what I make with my hands. I’m always afraid of what I create, and what I produce, and whether people will love it or absolutely hate it.”
Blurryface is available for preorder on iTunes, and Twenty One Pilots are now starting the international leg of their Vessel tour.
