It’s that time of year again: the set list for the 2016 Coachella Festival has arrived. The annual music festival embarks on its 17th year and is being  held at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California.

Coachella first started in the late ‘90s, and has since been a place to appreciate the art of music. The concerts vary from different musical genres from many praised artists. Stars like Kendall and Kylie Jenner and Vanessa Hudgens have attended previous Coachella Festivals. According to the official set list that has just been released, performances will be by both new favorites and old classics. Fans that are attending should expect to see Ellie Goulding, Of Monsters and Men, Ice Cube, A$AP Rocky, Alessia Cara, Halsey, James Bay, The 1975, Rae Sremmurd, Sia, Guns N’ Roses and more.

Many people are ecstatic to hear that Guns N’ Roses are reuniting to perform at this year’s festival. The last time the classic 80s band performed together was July 17, 1993. Early 2000s band, LCD Soundsystem, are also reuniting to perform at Coachella. EDM artists will also be performing such as Calvin Harris, DJ Koze, Disclosure, Jack Ü, DJ Mustard, Zedd, Major Lazer and many more. More than 100 artists booked to play the April 15-17 and April 22-14 events. Although music is a major part of this event, the expression of culture is shown through the festival as well. It is expressed through the infamous bohemian fashion styles that is worn by the many festival goers and of course the dancing. Many teens and adults take part in this cultural event every year. It is so popular that general admission tickets are already sold out. Coachella 2016 is from April 15-24.
