Highest number of shark attacks in 2015

It may seem plausible to blame the sharks when the number of attacks reached record high last year. It’s reasonable but does not make it fair. According to the International Shark Attack File, an uncommon number of unwarranted shark attacks worldwide was reported, with 98 incidents. That’s 29 more than the past years. The report from the International Shark Attack Tile says, “The numerical growth in human-shark interactions does not necessarily mean there is an increase in the rate of shark attacks.” It was said that the more humans go swimming in the ocean the more shark attacks there will be. Another reason why there are so many attacks is that the temperature of water increased. The sharks who like warmer water will go to places with warm water such as the Northern or Southern Hemisphere. And when there are higher number of people on the planet, it means more interactions with sharks. An example of that would be the attacks in Florida, the third most shark-crowded state in the nation, which had the greatest number of attacks last year. The top three states in the US with the most shark attacks are Florida, North and South Carolina. During last year, there has been 59 attacks but only one death. Sharks do not just attack even when unprovoked, they are attracted to big or small splashes. In other words, sharks should not be entirely at fault when shark attacks happen unless they attack when unprovoked.
