Dancin’ towards summer

The Desert Vista Dance Company is putting on their Spring Dance Show on April 27th and 28th in the Dr. Joe MacDonald Auditorium and the company dancers are working hard to prepare to make sure everything is flawless.

“We have been working so hard lately,” freshman Kylee Clinton said, “We have to be here super early before school to rehearse just to make sure the show looks perfect. Everyone is starting to get really excited.”

Not only are the dancers working during class, they are putting in hours before and after school as well. Dancers are excited to see all their hard work pay off in the next couple weeks.

“At the end of the show there will be a senior slideshow because it is their last company high school show,” freshman Tyler Tapia said, “but the actual Senior Dance Show is in a couple of weeks, so they will still be rehearsing even after this show is over.”

Of course the Seniors will be recognized during their last show. It shows dedication that will all continue to work hard to put on a great Senior Dance Show. Desert Vista Dance Company is sad to be saying goodbye to their beloved seniors.

“I love that my friends can come and see me doing what I love,” freshman Kylee Clinton said, “We have all worked so hard and I love being able to share that with my friends while I’m onstage.”
