The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue by V.E. Schwab is a book about an immortal girl who is forgotten by everyone she meets. Whether it’s falling asleep, walking into another room or turning to talk to someone new and they don’t remember her. She is unable to make a mark on history as she cannot say her name or write her story. The god who gave her this curse thinks she will give up quickly and return to him.

I love this book because Addie LaRue doesn’t give up. She enjoys her life even though she is alone but being alone doesn’t stop her from seeing and experiencing all the things the world has to offer. Addie explores every street in cities as large as Paris and New York City just because she has time and you never know what you’re going to find.

The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue is an easy read and is highly recommended.
