Ohio State quarterback suspended

Starting Ohio State quarterback JT Barrett is suspended one game for operating a vehicle while intoxicated. Barrett was arrested when he failed the Breathalyzer test at a DUI checkpoint near the Ohio State campus. Later, he was released to fellow teammate Cardale Jones.

Not only is Barrett suspended for one game, but he is stripped of his scholarship for one term. Coach Urban Meyer was the one who was in charge of making Barrett’s punishments. Barrett will be suspended for the Ohio State v Minnesota game on November 7th, but will return on November 14th when Ohio State takes on Illinois. Barrett’s return to his starting position is questionable.
