Winter Storm Jonas struck the east coast causing thousands of flights to be canceled. The storm has now made history as one of the worst snowstorms, ranking in the top five. Cars were buried under snow and airports all throughout the east coast were shut down. Airlines all across the board from Southwest to Alaska were canceling and delaying flights. Many travelers were stuck, stranded from their homes some almost half way across the country. People all across the east coast emptied out grocery stores because their cars were hidden underneath the snow. As airports started to open and flights being to be on time, travelers being to make their way home.
