Señor Coxon

Señor Coxon

Señor Michael Coxon is one of several Spanish teachers at Desert Vista High School. He teaches Spanish 1-2 and 3-4 and is a very unique teacher with an equally unique background. Coxon majored in History Education, English Education and Spanish Education, with graduate work in Spanish Literature. He has a grand list of the universities he has studied at consisting of: Illinois State University, University of Wisconsin, Autonomous University of Santiago de Compostela, and  University of Guadalajara. You might think with all this impressive background that he would be a strict teacher, but that is the very opposite. His classes consist of him telling stories while exposing his students to the lessons that need to be taught. This teaches the students how to use the language, which equates to countless hours of notes and textbooks into just a few short class periods. Señor Coxon has taken this language and made it a fun experience for new timers and Spanish speakers alike.
