Cars on Show in New York

The New York International Auto Show was bustling with new cars and plenty of sights to see. Whether you are a sporty type or just looking for a new car, there was much to see at the show.

For those who love looking at fast, powerful cars, the McLaren 570S was one of the cars to highlight the show. This was the first time the McLaren was putting in efforts into the sports car category; as usual, they produced a beautiful, powerful car that would appeal to almost anybody with the money to buy it.

With its intro to the sports car category, the 570S has some unique features including three different modes to drive in, (normal, sport and track) can accelerate from 0-100km/h in 3.2 seconds, along with 0-200km/h in 9.5 seconds and can top out at 328 km/h, or about 204 mph.

In the interior, it has state of the art intelligent design with its seven-inch touchscreen and seating meant to give drivers better engagement and visibility while driving.

Another highlight was the new 2016 Porsche Boxter Spyder. With its release, Porsche said that it is “both the most powerful and the fastest Boxster it has ever created.” This new car can go up to 180 mph and is one of the fastest cars Porsche has manufactured, leaving fans and buyers drooling.

One of Honda’s sedans also made its way to the top of the show. The new concept car for the Civic Coupe was stunning and looked even better than one of its competitors – the Optima. Its stunning looks, unfortunately, will not be coming to the US for a couple of years, but Honda has kept the same efficiency as they have had in the past with the Civic.

The New York International Auto Show was a success for many different brands and was a great way to show off the future of the cars that may be soon on the road.
