Suicide Squad

Suicide+Squad

DC Comics films returns this upcoming year with their very own comic “Suicide Squad.” The movie was long-awaited and was just recently announced last summer, because DC Comics makes movies at a slow but cherished pace. Each movie is expected to be well-written and meet the demands of fans. As a big DC Comics fan myself, I looked into all the info about the upcoming movie and wanted to give some thoughts on “Suicide Squad”.

The movie will be about the government using locked-up villains from the DC universe and using them to form a squad to do covert operations in exchange for reduced prison sentencing. The term “Suicide Squad” comes from the fact that the villains have micro bombs planted inside of them and they will go off if they try to escape or cause trouble. This group of villains includes Deadshot, Captain Boomerang, Harley Quinn, Lex Luthor and, a fan favorite, the Joker. The director of the film is David Ayer, who also directed the movie “Fury”.

“I love the passion comic book readers have for these characters and these worlds,” Ayer said during an interview with Empire Online. Ayer hopes to deliver the perfect idea of the Suicide Squad to the big screen to pleasure the passionate fans.

Fans expect the movie to be great, and I don’t see how this movie can turn out bad. I think people who enjoyed the “Batman” and “Superman” movies, should watch this film when it comes to theaters.

“Suicide Squad” will be released on August 5, 2016.
