Six Flags 2016 coasters

Six Flags recently released a video on their website talking about the new attractions coming to their park in 2016. A total of 24 new rides and attractions will be complete in the parks before the end of summer next year.

“Total Mayhem” is a new 4D spinning roller coaster being added to Six Flags Great Adventure. Going up 120 feet the riders will spin in their seats as the ride descends back to the ground with a 54 foot drop.

“Justice League Battle for Metropolis” is a 4D flat ride where riders interact by shooting a laser gun at screens on the side. This gives an effect that you are there with the Justice League trying to save the city.

“The Joker” is a new hybrid coaster made by Rocky Mountain Construction, a renowned coaster company. This new ride features wooden supports with a steel track, making it “hybrid” with barrel rolls and 80 degree drops to keep riders entertained. The new ride will be implemented at Six Flags Discovery Kingdom.

These rides will be added to Six Flags Over Texas.

“Wahoo Racer” is a series of slides next to each other slowly descending to the bottom. Guests can “race” each other to the end by going at the same time. This ride is going to be added to Six Flags White Water.

“Phoenix” is a flying flat ride where riders ascend into the air in planes attacked by a rope and spin multiple times. “Le Vampire” is a suspended coaster which has now been revamped and instead goes backwards around the track. “Gravitator” is a flat ride  where guests stand in the circle against the wall and are spun and only held to the wall by centrifugal force. These ride will all be added to La Ronde, a six flags owned park.
