Planet coaster is a new game being developed by Frontier and is expected to be released in 2016 if development is continued smoothly.

There is no goal in the game but essentially it is your job to create and run a successful theme park for guests to enjoy. Start off by building an entrance to charge your guests to enter and then after that you can build whatever you want.

There is a money mode which lets you budget your money wisely while building your park or you can have unlimited money to build your heart out. This lets the player do what they feel is comfortable for them if they don’t want to have their creativity let down by a low budget.

Even though Frontier considers the game no where near done, from the trailers it looks like it could be released today. The graphics are great for a game that requires so much power to run and the interface looks amazing.

Of course in a game called planet coaster you should be able to build rollercoasters, that is exactly what you can do. Choose from many different types of roller coasters and build using the simple tools created to make the experience fun and easy. Afterwards you can test and ride your roller coaster to see it for yourself in a first person view.

Along with that there are much more tools to customize how your park looks. You can change the texture of the ground from grass to a desert or snow biome. The climate and biome affects the guests happiness as well to have a bit more added realistic feeling. There are also terrain editing tools letting you warp and create your own mountains or caves. Then rollercoasters can be put through them to add a scary aspect of the coaster.

You can build paths and then add vendors that sell drinks or food, so your guests won’t gain hunger or thirst. Even the prices of the food and drinks are changeable at your will. Other vendors that sell things like balloons or hats can be placed as well.

To keep your park clean you must hire handymen to sweep the floors and take out the trash so guests don’t get appalled by the sights and smell of trash. Mechanics also need to be hired so your rides don’t break down as often, but if they do the mechanics will be able to fix it.

Rides on the ground known as flat rides can be placed just like real theme parks. Spinning rides and log flume rides can be built with much more just like them being able to built and customized how you like to make your park look how you want it to be.

This game is currently very hyped by the people who know about it. Even with no release date people already can’t wait for it to come out in its expected release in the fourth quarter of 2016.
