Most anticipated movies In 2016

As 2016 comes rolling in so do the new movies such as the upcoming Deadpool and the highly anticipated Suicide Squad is to come out this year but that is only the beginning so will be listing the most anticipated movies in 2016.

1.

Kung Fu Panda 3 (January 29, 2016)

Po reunited with his biological father and ventures off with him to a secret haven of pandas where he does not fit in. There he meets Mei Mei, an overly enthusiastic panda, who had been promised to Po through an arranged marriage when they were only baby pandas. To make matters worse, an evil ancient spirit called Kai begins tormenting China and taking the powers of subdued kung fu masters. Now in the face of incredible odds, Po must indoctrinate the village of uncoordinated, fun-loving pandas to become a band of Kung Fu Pandas. A sequel to the 2011 film Kung Fu Panda 2 and the third installment in the Kung Fu Panda franchise. The major actors and actresses in the film are Jack Black, Angelina Jolie, Dustin Hoffman, Lucy Liu, Jackie Chan, Seth Rogen, David Cross, James Hong, Bryan Cranston, Kate Hudson, and J. K. Simmons.

Zoolander No. 2 (February 12, 2016)

When the world’s most extravagant musical celebrities are methodically assassinated with formerly famous male model Derek Zoolander’s iconic “Blue Steel” look on their face, Interpol enlisted Derek and his old friend Hansel McDonald to invade a new and diverse world of high fashion in order to put a stop to it. Meanwhile, Derek’s rival Jacobim Mugatu is set free and is seeking vengeance. Zoolander 2 is the sequel to the 2001 film Zoolander. The leading cast is Ben Stiller, Owen Wilson,Will Ferrell, Penélope Cruz, Kristen Wiig and Fred Armisen.

The survival of mortals are at stake when ruthless god of darkness Set takes over the Egyptian Empire while overthrowing Horus the god of the sky. Its up to a mortal named Bek who later partners up with Horus to rescue his love and to bring back balance to the world. The primary actors and actresses in the film are Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Brenton Thwaites, Chadwick Boseman, Elodie Yung, Courtney Eaton, Rufus Sewell, Gerard Butler and Geoffrey Rush.

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice ( March 25, 2016)

As Batman undertakes a course of personal vendetta against Superman, the human race is at stake will this battle is at hand. The first live-action movie to have both Batman and Superman as well as the first to have actors/actresses to portray Aquaman, Cyborg,The Flash and Wonder Woman.Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is intended to be the follow-up to 2013’s Man of Steel and the second installment in the DC Extended Universe. The core actors and actresses in the film are Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Jesse Eisenberg, Diane Lane, Laurence Fishburne, Jeremy Irons, Holly Hunter and Gal Gadot.

An CGI live-action reboot of the 1967 Jungle Book animated film. Bringing Baloo and Bagheera and the likes into realistic perspective as well as bringing a childhood favorite to life. The primary cast is Bill Murray, Ben Kingsley, Idris Elba, Lupita Nyong’o, Scarlett Johansson, Giancarlo Esposito, Christopher Walken and Neel Sethi.

The Huntsman (April 22, 2016)

Freya a young snow queen who can freeze her opposers into ice is the sister of the wicked Ravenna. Freya soon learns of the demise of her sister and later summons her subordinates to recover the Magic Mirror.using this mirror to resurrect Ravenna, the two wicked sisters assemble a seemingly inextinguishable army that threatens the kingdom. Only the abilities of Eric and Sara,the two warriors who disobeyed Freya by falling in love, can save this enchanted realm from the forces of wickedness. The starring cast is Chris Hemsworth, Charlize Theron, Emily Blunt, Jessica Chastain, Sam Claflin, Colin Morgan and Nick Frost.

As a feud happens between Captain America and Iron Man , the Avengers are greatly affected. The Avengers are soon divided and pick sides between the two feuders .A war ensues between the ex-comrades and everyone is affected by this civil war.

Alice in Wonderland: Through the Looking Glass (May 27, 2016)

An adventure & fantasy film directed by James Bobin and produced by Tim Burton. The movie is based on Through the Looking Glass by Lewis Carroll the author of the Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland and is the sequel to the 2010 film Alice in Wonderland. The main actors and actresses are Mia Wasikowska, Johnny Depp, Helena Bonham Carter, Anne Hathaway and Sacha Baron Cohen.

X-Men: Apocalypse (May 27, 2016)

Since the dawn of time Apocalypse the first and most powerful has been worshipped as a god.When he awakens after several millennia, Apocalypse is disenchanted with the modern world and recruits a team of mutants to “purify” humanity and create a new world order, forcing Raven and Charles Xavier to lead a team of young adolescent X-Men to save humanity and stop Apocalypse. The turtles are at it again! Raphael, Michelangelo, Donatello, and Leonardo battle the evil Shredder and his new helpers Bebop and Rocksteady in this reboot of the TMNT series.

Suicide Squad (August 5, 2016)

Not much is known about the plot except that well known super villains such as the Joker, Harley Quinn, and Deadshot are in a group called Suicide Squad in which the secret government embarks them on a mission and if they try anything sneaky they die. Which is why they are called the “Suicide” Squad. The main cast is Will Smith, Jared Leto, Margot Robbie, Joel Kinnaman, Viola Davis, Jai Courtney,Jay Hernandez, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Ike Barinholtz and Scott Eastwood.

Assassin’s Creed (December 21, 2016)

Directed by Justin Kurzel and produced by Frank Marshall and Ubisoft Motion Pictures. Assassin’s Creed The Movie is based off the award-winning gaming series Assassin’s Creed. Very little is known about the movie except that like any Assassin’s Creed game, someone finds a connection in modern day world to someone long ago for example in 15th century Spain just like Callum Lynch who discovers he is a descendant of the secret Assassins society after obtaining genetic memories that allow him to relive the experiences of his ancestor, Aguilar, in 15th century Spain. After gaining unbelievable knowledge and abilities following his ancestor’s legacy he goes on to take on the oppressive Knights Templar in the present day. The starring cast is Michael Fassbender, Marion Cotillard, Michael K. Williams, Jeremy Irons, Brendan Gleeson and Ariane Labed.( Though the following cast is not entirely complete,there may or may not be additional characters.)
