Batman vs Superman: Dawn of justice is the second film in the DC Extended Universe and is intended to be a sequel to Man of Steel. The movie is set to be released on March 25th, 2016 in the United States in 2D 3D and IMAX 3D.

It is the first live action film to feature Batman and Superman together. It is also the first film to have live action portrayals of Aquaman, Wonder Woman, The Flash and Cyborg.

Batman is the secret identity of Bruce Wayne, a billionaire dedicated to fighting crime in the city of gotham after his parents were shot in an alleyway when he was a kid. He took on the appearance of a bat to aid him in battle as a scare tactic and something for people to remember him by. In the upcoming movie he will be played by Ben Affleck.

Superman is a kryptonian, he came to earth as a baby after his planet known as Krypton got blown up. He was raised by a Kansas farming family and slowly gained sense of his powers and how to use them for good. In the upcoming movie he is seen as an alien who doesn’t belong on our earth. People consider him a god who could destroy the planet if he felt like it and that he needs to be stopped.

For reasons still not known, the two who are usually good friends are going against each other. In the trailer the Wayne Enterprise building is seen being destroyed by a laser which could potentially be superman. It could be possible Bruce Wayne wants revenge against superman for destroying his building

Another conflict appears in the trailer when Doomsday appears and blows up the city superman and batman are in, which is either Gotham or Metropolis.

The reveal of Wonder Woman is also sparked a debate between fans, but her true purpose in the film won’t be revealed until the movies release.

This film is being highly hyped by many people, hopefully it will live up to the hype and become a classic after it’s release in March.
