Meet LaMarreon East, a 14-year-old freshman at Desert Vista High School. If you get to know LaMarreon, you would find out that he has been playing basketball for almost his whole life. 

“I just like, really started trying, like, since I was like in eighth grade,” said LaMarreon.

LaMarreon has lived in four other states including Indiana, Florida, North Carolina, and Virginia.

“So I lived, I think I lived in each state for like, a year or two,” he said. “And I moved everywhere cause my dad was in the military and they always had to move us.”

Because LaMarreon probably has many stories of his travels from state to state and is amazing at basketball, getting to know him is a good thing. You too should get to know him this semester!
