Meet Jarek. A 14-year-old class of 2024 at Desert Vista high school. If you get to know Jarek you would understand everything that has affected him throughout COVID-19.

Virtual learning has been a struggle for many students, but not Jarek.

“It’s been pretty, you know, easy because of online learning, gets a lot more things that we wouldn’t normally be able to have,” said Agnick.

In the past months teenagers everywhere have been struggling of boredom. Jarek has been mountain biking as a way to pass time.

“I do mountain bike,” he said.

Many students and parents wonder how being a student doing hybrid learning is. Jarek assures us that it is pretty easy.

“Because when we go back to when we did the hybrid learning, it’s generally the same amount of easiness. That could change if it was all in person,” he states.

For many of us have regrets of what we should have done before our country closed. Jarek says that he would have spent more time with friends.

“Probably, to go out with my friends more often. As you’ve seen with these closures, not many places are open,” said Agnick.
