Meet Xane Pitts Peña, a freshman student in Film & TV.  If you get to know Xane you would find out how the coronavirus pandemic has affected him and if he likes online or in-person learning more. 

“I feel that, I don’t know,  It’s weird, it’s definitely really weird,” he said. “I don’t know if I like one. Like, I think I would like I like virtual better, I would say, but I also like to need to be in like, in class for like, a few of my classes just to make sure. Like, because it’s just, it’s better to learn. Like to understand what’s happening when I’m inside of the, like, when I’m actually sitting there, and the teacher is like talking to me not like through a screen how we are right now. So yeah, that’s definitely different.”

Because Xane is a very nice and friendly person, getting to know him is s good thing. You too should get to know Xane this semester.
