Meet Oscar Soria, a 14- year- old Film and TV student at Desert Vista. If you get to know Oscar you would find out that he is a kind person.

He was born in the US but he lived most of his life in Mexico. Oscar tells us some of the big differences from living in Mexico compared to where he lives now, the US.

“So obviously the biggest one was the language since it’s a whole different language to learn and to talk to other people too. And another big difference was the school’s chainsaw here. They’re much bigger. They covered a lot of more things than in Mexico,” said Oscar.

Oscar is also trilingual. If you don’t know what “trilingual means” Oscar will elaborate on that.

“So trilingual means that you can, uh, fluently speak three languages, uh, which I am currently trying to do that, uh, studying French. I can speak Spanish, English, and French,” said Oscar.

Because Oscar is so caring for his family and his past life getting to know him is a good thing. You too should get to know Oscar this semester!
