Meet Emily Littlefield a 15 year old sophomore at Desert Vista.If you get to know Emily you would find out that she has a passion for running.

“So, I’ve always, loved running even before I joined cross country, like, from elementary school,” Emily said. “Like, we always do this, like, annual 5K that we’d have like, around the school. And I’d always run with my Grammy. So we’d always like train for weeks before. And then like, when the time came, we ran it together. ”

Emily is always ready when it comes to her racing.

“For me I think It’s like racing cause I love to race. I’m very competitive so like, whenever I have, a cross country race or a track race, I’m always super excited and motivated. And also just, the feeling of running. I just love it, I don’t know what it is, ” Emily said.

Because Emily is so sincerely impassioned about her sport and you can be sure it was great to get to know her.
