Upcoming fall events at Desert Vista
Football games, dances and DV’s 20th anniversary all make for one busy fall semester.
On September 4, Desert Vista Football won a game against Williams Field High School. Desert Vista plays against its biggest rivals, Mountain Pointe, at the annual Tukee Bowl held at DV this year on October 1. Desert Vista spirit will be a “white out.”
Homecoming, one of the biggest dances of the year, is on Halloween. Along with the Homecoming Dance, there will be nominations from homecoming court and the homecoming football game. Last year’s homecoming king and queen were David France and Maddie Spencer.
Want to prepare for SAT testing? Come take the PSAT test on October 14. The cost is $15 and a photo I.D is required. Juniors start registration first on September 8, sophomores on September 14 and then freshmen and non-DV students on September 21. Registration ends on October 2.
Another big event happening here is DV’s 20th anniversary, held on October 30.
