An Ohio man and a women have been arrested for allegedly leaving their 1-year-old son home alone who was found by police stuck in a toilet.

Police say that the neighbors of the couple heard crying that had been going on for about half an hour. A maintenance worker of the building they all live in in Canton, Ohio.

The police went in to discover the 20-month-old child stuck in the toilet completely by himself in the apartment. Also discovered by police officers in the home were three weed plants.

The officers managed to get the toddler out of the toilet and notified Child Protective Services

Around 2 hours after the child was found, Justice Chance, the mother, was found on her way back to the apartment with grocery bags.

Chance told the police the toddler’s older sister, whom she did not give a last name for, was supposed to be babysitting him.

Both Justice chance and the boy’s father Rashaan Cuffee were charged for child endangerment as well as marijuana cultivation.
