A New Age of Safety has Taken off

As the days pass, society evolves into a age where technology is easily accessed. From phones to hoverboards to airplanes, humankind is always propelling itself forward to achieve the maximum level of comfort and convenience. Now, something new sparks in technology: the use of drones. Medical drones are becoming reality; there have been use of small aircrafts, but none that can carry 5-pound First Aid kits and fly for a whole hour. Neither have there been use of security drones for personal homes, the perfect alternative to abandon security cameras and alarm systems. A company named Sunflower Labs in Silicon Valley and Zurich, Switzerland declared a new security system drone that reveals suspicious characters as well as vehicles and animals. The drone has the ability to investigate and scan the area around the threat. It will notify the owner and stream a live video of what is happening so you can see for yourself whether the “suspicious figure” is your dog or possibly a bandit.

“It sounds a little difficult to get used to, but Sunflower Lab’s invention is definitely crafted with reliable and safe ideas. Just a few configurations, and you are set for safety”, said freshman Nathan Zhang. “The best part is its connection to your phone, so you will always be alerted, whenever the situation calls.”

Sunflower Labs fuses aerial vision and outdoor sensors to constitute a wholesome protection systems. Sunflower Smart Lights are the outdoor sensors that are just visualized as aesthetic gardening decors to spark up the yard, but they serve a totally different purpose. In addition to the luminous features, it contains 360 degrees of motion sensors, as well as vibration sensors to identify footsteps.Lastly, the microphone and speaker repel unwanted visitors. The lights are solar powered, and easy to install. Whenever the lights sense strange movement, sounds, or vibrations, it signals the drone to scan the area, as well as notify the owner’s smartphone. The Drone has unique GPS tracking navigation for precise and safe flight around the property. Everything is automatic, which means there is no piloting skills needed for this to work; the drone will scan the area by itself without chaos, due to its small size and lightweight. There is an high resolution camera with infrared camera attached to the bottom, and four high-speed propellers on the top.

“There isn’t a better way to keep your property safe and to light your yard”, said Zhang. “I can’t wait until this hits the market, technology like this can prevent many issues and can later develop into a lifesaver in the medical field. It’s almost as if these could turn into our personal angels, I love it.”
