Desert Vista’s spring break is coming up. Students have the whole week of March 6th through March 10th off of school. Spring break is a very exciting time for students to take a break of the day to day stress of being a high school student.

“I am going to spend a week in Mexico with my best friend” Freshman Peyton Rubischko said “ We are staying at a fancy resort on the beach. I am so excited to just chill on the beach. I also love mexican food so i’m really excited to eat a lot of tacos.”

Many people go on vacation over breaks. Some people go to the beach, camping, or to get a last feel for cold weather. Others stay like to spend time with friends and family. Some people just relax and enjoy the break from school.

“ I am planning on spending time with my friends” Sophomore Holly Hansen said “ We have lots of different things planned. We are planning on going to the zoo one day and just spend lots of time together. Spring break is one of my favorite times of the year because it’s a nice break from reality before the end of the year approaches.”

Spring break marks the end of the third quarter. That means there is only nine weeks left of school after break. For most students spring break is the perfect break and time to rest up for what is to come in fourth quarter.

“Spring break is my favorite break of the year” Hansen said
