DVDC Dance Show

The DVDC Dance Show is coming up on April 27h and 28th. The dance company had started choreographing the dances halfway through February. There are lots of class dances and there are students dances that are going to be performed during the show. The class dances were practiced during class often and the student dances had scheduled rehearsals in the morning and after school. Student dances were choreographed by other student like themselves,  where as in some instances, the class dances are choreographed by the dance teachers. Practices for the upcoming show can take as long as an hour.

“I am in 5 student choreographed dances and 4 class dances so far. Everyone works very hard so I think the show will turn out amazing.” Says freshman Tyler Tapia, a dancer in the Senior Dance Company.

Many people are really looking forward to seeing the show and supporting their friends and family members. The dancers are just as excited. Going to see the DV dance shows are a great and important way to show Desert Vista school spirit and your interest in it’s school activities.

“I absolutely love going to watch the DVDC Dance Shows, they are always so beautiful to watch and to witness. You can tell they put a lot of hard work and effort into each dance number and it is definitely seen by the audience,” Says freshman Karly Makay, “They always look so effortless and graceful on stage and it’s always a joy to watch.”
