Warframe review

Warframe is a free to play game downloadable on Xbox One, PC and Playstation 4. The game released March 25th, 2013 for PC and September 2, 2014 for Xbox One and Playstation 4.

The whole point of the game to complete mission using a primary weapon, a secondary and a melee weapon as you run around the map finishing tasks to end the mission.

The gameplay is very fast and you have to have experience with other fast paced games to begin with this one. The constant switch between using a sword and a gun for close and far range enemies is a decision which must be made quickly or you will die.

You play as a “Tenno”, a high class race whose jobs are to protect the less fortunate from enemies. You’ve just been woken up after the enemies who caught you planned to use you for their own evil.

After a person called “Lotus” contacts you she helps you in finding a weapon and escaping from the enemies called the “Grineer”. Following that you escape to your ship, this is the new starting menu each time you load up a game.

Every time you start up the game you spawn in your ship and can choose many things. The navigation panel lets you choose missions, these are where the action happens. The foundry is where you can craft new weapons using materials you find on the planets you fight for.

Loading up a mission you can immediately notice that the graphics are phenomenal, especially for a game that’s free. The landscape is well made and easy to navigate around as you do ninja like moves to take out enemies.

As a Tenno you equip suits called “Warframes”. These suits give you armor which takes hits for you and will regenerate after time. Each Warframe have four powers that are essential to the gameplay. These can be used by acquiring energy found on the bodies of dead enemies.

To get a new weapon you must earn credits. They are rewarded after completing a mission and can be used to buy a weapon blueprint. Depending on what type of weapon it is you will need to go to a certain planet and collect materials to create it.

These aspects make this one of the best, and most fun games I have ever played in my life. The fact that it is also free makes is even better. All my friends can get the game and they won’t have to worry about the money aspect of it. Everything can be earned in the game for free.

If you are bored then just get Warframe, you won’t put the game down for hours. Everything that makes a good game can be found in this game. I absolutely loved it and when you play it, you will too.
