Music is a way for artists to express their thoughts and feelings. In todays society, that often means bad words and messages about sex and drugs. Radios should be allowed to play all types of music including those with bad words.

One of the wonderful things about America is first amendment of the Constitution including freedom of speech. Artists are allowed to write music with all types of lyrics, but why is it that radio stations are not allowed to play all types of music? Everyone has the freedom of speech including radio hosts.

In addition, people should be allowed to choose what they listen to, as well as what they don’t. Citizens should have knowledge of which radio stations are censored and which are not so they can still control what they listen to. This allows artists, radio hosts, as well as everyone who listens to the radio to chose whether or not they listen to, write, or play uncensored music. It allows people to have a choice in their lives.
Trying to control what people do or what they listen to will never work and shouldn’t be okay. In the end, playing all kinds of music on the radio allows people to be in control of themselves and chose how they live their lives.
