Desert Vista High School has many electives that students can choose from. The electives at Desert Vista include Foreign language, performing arts, Desert Vista orchestras, technology classes, and introduction to computer graphic art.

Foreign language includes classes for Spanish, German, French, or Latin. Basic drama or art are classes you can choose from performing arts. Introduction to computer and graphic art include tv production, journalism, or yearbook. Technology also have intro to technology and intro to engineering. Finally, Desert Vista Orchestra that includes classes for concert, symphony, and chamber.

Desert Vista has great classes that students can take and a good selection of classes to choose from. The electives here at Desert Vista help students try new things, to meet new people, to learn new things, and most importantly the classes help the students get a lot out of the electives that they choose from. Even if the courses might be hard for some students, Desert Vista has the brightest, kindest, and very helpful elective teachers that are there to encourage and to help students reach their goal.
