Spring break for Desert Vista students and staff was the week of March 6 to March 10 not including the weekends. A nine day break from school is something everyone enjoys! Spring break gives the people at Desert Vista a break from everything that is stressing them out for a little bit of fun!

“I think spring break is necessary because we need a week between each quarter to get a break,” said freshman Olivia Evans, “Over break I went to New York and we stayed in Times Square. We saw three Broadway shows, shopped a lot, and took dance classes at Broadway Dance Center. It even snowed on our last day! I really enjoyed break and am very happy we have it!”

I think spring break is definitely necessary. We all could use a break from the stress of school to tan in the sun. Spring break is fun and something everyone enjoys! I had a lot of fun over break with my family and friends! Spring break is a reminder for everyone that you have one quarter left and to make it count!
“School stresses you out and spring break gives your mind a rest,” said junior Esmeralda Escobar, “It’s good we have it because I like to sleep in and I did a lot of that over break. I mostly hung out with family and friends though. And I took some good naps. Spring break is a good thing, and a nice break for everyone’s mind. It is something everyone needs.”
