FCA Huddle

The FCA, also known as Fellow Christian Athletes Huddle is a Desert Vista activity that meets every other Wednesday of every month at 7 a.m in the large gym. The activity is open for any students at DV who are interested in having playing games and meeting new people!

At the beginning of the meeting the members will decide on what game to play for everyone to participate in. Most activities that are chosen are mainly physical activities that can also help students wake up instead of coming to class tired. Then after playing and getting some exercise, the staff/student members hand out free donuts for the participants to eat while the members prepare a reading from the Christian Bible for the others to listen to.

Listening to some of the readings from the bible can be very relaxing and enjoyable when the members are reading. The FCA Huddle can also talk about serious topics. The answers that they provide us when they read from the bible can be very helpful. One topic talked about very often is stress from school. The huddle can be very helpful when talking about this topic.

This activity is a great way to make friends and is a great way to relax on a Wednesday morning. From playing a sport to sitting and relaxing to some of their readings makes any morning perfect.
