DV Softball Preview
As the spring season rolls in, softball in Arizona begins here at Desert Vista. The girls softball program began pre-season training right after winter break.
The preseason conditioned the ladies for the upcoming season, during which there will be some hard competition in Division I.
All three levels are a force to be reckoned with this year, especially the varsity girls. Most of them have been playing together on club teams for a while now, and the main thing teams need to succeed is team chemistry; without it, the team would go nowhere.
“I am so excited to get to know all of the girls and get the opportunity to play with new people that I am used to,” said freshman Braelyn Paes during the preseason. “I have been looking forward to playing softball at school all year.”
The first league game is approaching quickly on March 3 at Boulder Creek.
