With big shoes to fill from the girl’s volleyball team, the boys have worked hard to get the best results out of their difficult schedule.

Despite a tough loss in a scrimmage against the Brophy Broncos, the volleyball team has pulled out wins against almost everyone except a very challenging opponent, the Highland Hawks, 3-2.

In the last tournament that they played in, Andrew Garner, a senior, earned a spot on the all-tournament team along with other great athletes from many other schools.

A lot of the boys on the team are very close and have been friends off and on the court for many years now, volleyball just being another common love they share. From the freshman team to varsity, all of the boys get along really well.

“The volleyball team has made me new friends that are not just freshmen, but I have gotten closer with upperclassmen as well,” said freshman on JV, Nick Heeres.
