Colin Kaepernick contract controversy

With a new coach and many players gone, the 49ers have had a tough start to the season. Currently, the 49ers are 2-4. Could this be because of the poor defensive line? Colin Kaepernick has completed a total of 39 of 62, 63% of his passes.

In the past six games, Kaepernick has thrown nine interceptions and three touchdowns for a 5.82 yard passing average. In June of 2014, Kaepernick signed a 126 million dollar, six year deal with the 49ers. The terms and conditions were not as secure as Kaepernick had thought, he actually was only extended for two more years. During the 2014 season, he was not playing up to Harbaugh’s standard, so Kaepernick started to use his legs to his advantage and run the ball more. The 49ers offense cannot survive this season if Kaepernick cannot throw accurately to his receivers and make his offense look good.
