Desert Vista Girls Varsity Basketball

DV Girls Varsity Basketball has been working hard for the upcoming season ahead of them. They have been practicing six days a week; everyday after school  along with the early mornings on Saturdays. The team still finds time to manage their grades and make it on time to practice. These girls are a family on the court and off. They push each other to do the very best along with the leading hand of Coach Wilson. Coach Wilson pushes the girls hard enough to get plays right so that they can head straight towards success.
The girls treat each other like a family on and off the court. If one needs help in school so that they can keep playing then the entire team will offer various ways to help. Another way they stay close is at the end of each practice they gather together locking arms or holding hands and they reflect on positives and negatives of that practice. This reflection they proceed on at the end of a practice lets them know what needs to be fixed and what needs to be continued so that they will be ready for when the first game comes. The DV Girls Basketball team is very much prepared for this upcoming season as long as they continue with the hard work they put into practice
