NFL Pro Bowl leaders

The NFL season is already past the midway point, and some players stand out against the rest. However, some of these players have not been heard of prior to this season. These are the players who have stepped it up this season.

Tracy Porter, CB: Prior to the season, Tracy Porter was merely viewed as a backup corner on a bad Bears team. Boy were the predictions wrong, as Porter has become the Bears number one corner, and a true shutdown corner. After he only allowed three completions on 11 attempts, and a pick, on Aaron Rodgers, it’s fair to call him one.

Devonta Freeman, RB: Like the player above, Freeman was viewed as a backup running back to a rookie. Once Tevin Coleman went down, Freeman destroyed everything in his path, and fans took not too! At this moment Freeman is a top 5 running back voted by fans. Not too shabby for a player projected to be a backup.

Adrian Peterson, RB: I know, Adrian Peterson has established himself as an all-time great running back. He has broken records and carried the Vikings on his back, time after time. However, he was suspended last season for a child abuse controversy, his son was murdered, and he looked tired. All of that may be true, but he does not show it. Until AP retires, he will be the best RB in the game.

These are just some of the most deserving names that should be a pro bowler, who do you think deserves it?
