Johnny Manziel

Throughout the last couple of months the topic of Johnny Manziel has been a buzz in the media. Former Texas A&M quarterback and now Cleveland Browns quarterback has been in trouble once before. In 2013 when Manziel was with Texas A&M he was suspended for selling his autographs. Last year, Manziel was pulled over while arguing with his girlfriend and admitted to drinking. More recently he was under investigation for assaulting his ex girlfriend after police were called. Recently there was surveillance video found in the ZaZa Hotel located in Dallas, Texas. Major Midge Boyle of the Dallas Police Department said, “There has been no determination as to what charge, if any, will be filed against Mr. Manziel.’’ The biggest question at this time was, will the Browns keep Manziel around for another season. Before the Browns could drop Manziel, his agent Erik Burkhardt left him, now he has to figure out what would happen with his career on his own. Erik Burkhardt said, “It is with deep regret that, after several emotional and very personal discussions with his family, his doctors and my client himself, I have made the decision to terminate my professional relationship with Johnny Manziel.” Many football players within the league have their own opinion on Johnny Manziel and what has been going on. Super Bowl MVP Von Miller spoke to the media about Manziel; “Everybody has been here with adversity. I’ve been here with my own personal adversity. The support that I’m giving him is the support that he’s given me in the past.”
