Blake Griffin, power forward for the Los Angeles Clippers was recently suspended for four games. Griffin will go four games without pay for striking a team staff member and an additional game for breaking his shooting hand. Not only will Griffin be suspended, but he will also be losing money from his salary. Normally, his salary is a total of $18,907,725, but for striking a staff member his salary will decrease to $18,048,283 losing $859,442. Griffin has been in the media the past couple of weeks with a rumor going around that the Portland Trail Blazers will try to trade for Griffin.
