The 2016-2017 soccer season is coming to an end and the Desert Vista girls soccer players are looking forward to the new year. They will miss all the seniors and the people who do not plan on playing in the next season.

“I feel overall it has been a great season,” says senior Izzy Deutch, “We have come together as a team and become a family. Our team is so close and drama free and it has been such a great senior year. We have just worked together so good all year! I am sad it is coming to an end.”

Most of the students plan to continue playing on the Desert Vista soccer team in the future, but many of the seniors have the opportunity to play in college or play a different sport.

“The experience has been amazing,” says Deutch,” I am not sure yet, but i think i want do do track later this year.”

It is a very bittersweet moment for the girls because they will surely miss the graduating seniors, but they also have the opportunity to move up to varsity or play another sport.

The girls have taken away so much from this year. They’ve taken away amazing memories, new friends, and great experience.                       

“It is so crazy,” says senior Carly Bych, “It want by so quick but i am hoping we will end this season like the last one! Overall the season has been really great and we all want to achieve the same goal!”
