Solo Hanson on his way to AFA

Senior Solomon Hanson has big plans to go to the Air Force Academy. He wants to go to this college because he likes the colleges reputation and the campus.

“I like the prestige the academy has. I also really like the campus itself”, says Hanson.

“I have been running since i was in sixth grade and i have ran all through high school,” says hanson, “My Physical Education teacher told me that i could be a good runner so I tried it out and I have always really liked it.”

“I do plan on running cross country and track if I go the the Air Force Academy,” says hanson, “I like running now and i am ready to take it to the next level.”

After college he plans to run recreationally but not for competitive purposes.

“I plan on sticking with it, but more for fun,” says Hanson, “I do not plan on running competitively.”

Sophomore Holly Hansen, who runs with Solo, says that he is a great athlete and trained very hard to be where is is right now.

“He is so fun to run with and he is such a good friend too,” says Hansen, “I am glad that we are friends.”

Solo says that he has had a great experience with Desert Vista track and that he would do it all again if he could.
“I truly love my team and running with Desert Vista has been so much fun,” says Hanson, “ I definitely would do it again and i suggest it to anyone that likes to run!”
