A+ Schools Award

The A+ awards for schools is a school assessment program that celebrates outstanding schools and success leading throughout the school year.

 

A select few schools were awarded the A+ award on April 10th. The schools that received an A+ for their schools were given this award by the Arizona Educational Foundation which is given out annually to schools that passed a rigorous application process touching on all faces of their operation. To receive this award all schools must meet certain expectations in teaching, test scores, and the capability of the individual students to learn the material provided by the school.

 

Four schools in Ahwatukee received an A+ for their school, Desert Vista has won its second A+ award alongside Mountain Pointe, McClintock and….. as the Tempe Union district schools

 

The schools that got this award, won because they have excellent teaching skills that make the learning for the school better, have higher test scores, parent involvement, sports and clubs, leadership, and school spirit. The schools that got the A+ award have proven to be an excellent school to be apart of and has much to offer for staff and students.
The schools who have been awarded with an A+ rating have worked hard to make sure that all students were ready to the best of their abilities and have learned what they need to in order to successful in their lives and careers.
