The wrestling team is at an all time high this year. With so many incoming freshman participants, this will set up the next four years of Desert Vista Wrestling. Yet, with wrestling and grappling with each other, injuries are bound to happen. Here, we’ve gathered with the coach of varsity wrestling and one of the freshmen wrestlers, John Hunt, to talk about their goals for the season.

Many players are injured every day and with the upcoming state meets, the wrestling team could be in trouble of missing players. Although, the team is looking strong with what they’ve got and the next few meets are going to look like a win.
