The Marquee Theatre, located in Tempe, Arizona, is featuring the Artists from the Irish indie rock band, Two Door Cinema Club on Sunday, April 23 at 7 p.m. The price of the ticket, depends on where your seat is; the Advanced tickets are $27.50 and the Balcony tickets, which are for ages twenty one and older are $42. The songs that the band sings consist of various genres like Indie rock, Indie pop, Dance-punk, and Post-punk revival. The band was formed in 2007 and is composed of three young members that sing popular songs that greatly appeal to teenagers.

“I listen to Two Door Cinema frequently, but most of the time I listen to their old songs like “Sun” and “Undercover Martyn,” said freshman Karina Camargo. “I didn’t know that they were coming to Arizona but I would have loved to buy tickets.”

Although the Marquee Theatre is a small-sized live music venue, it has a capacity of 2,500 people and it is never empty. Along with Two Door Cinema Club, the theatre is hosting many other different types of bands during the month of April: Coheed and Cambria, Kehlani, Breaking Benjamin, Killswitch Engage, Say Anything & Bayside, Tech N9ne, and Jamey Johnson. This theatre is well-known and frequently visited; it has been open since 1993 and is still modernizing and becoming even more popular each year.
“I really like the Marquee Theatre, and Two Door Cinema Club but I don’t plan on going to see them this year but I hope to see them in the future because I love their songs,” said freshman Rebekah Teasley.
