Pumpkin Spiced Latte from Starbucks

It is officially fall, which means lots of oversized sweaters and warm drinks. Specifically, the famous Pumpkin Spiced Latte from Starbucks. There are plenty of raving reviews of the drink; many teens are the most excited about fall because of this drink. While this is true, I’m not sure it’s should be worked up as it really is.

I have had the drink plenty of times, but just recently I noticed something. I noticed that the cost for the actual drink is not nearly as good as the drink itself. You usually pay four to five dollars just for a small latte that you can probably make at home. Not only that, but the drink always comes out scorching hot, and you have to wait a while to fully drink it while keeping your tongue and throat safe.

The drink itself is okay. It has a very cinnamon taste to it, but I can never really pinpoint any pumpkin in the drink. I also can hardly ever taste the actual coffee because of all the sugary syrup they fill it up with. While it does leave you feeling warm inside, I found the drink far too sweet for anyone to ever drink the whole cup.

All in all, this famous fall drink from Starbucks is not a favorite. It could use some changes, but I would rather just make a latte on my own, and make it how I like it. Of course, some people don’t have time to go through the process of making this special drink. The Pumpkin Spiced Latte is a popular drink for sure, but it definitely didn’t meet my expectations.
