Desert Vista’s 2016 Homecoming

Desert Vista’s 2016 Carnival Homecoming was a blast for the whole school! It was a week full of fun activities. We showed our school spirit during the spirit week and ended it with the big homecoming football game. The next day, October 15th, we prepared for the homecoming dance. The dance was full of fun and laughter with a great DJ playing songs that got everyone up on their feet dancing. They also had a vender who was serving free snow cones and kettle corn! I really liked that! Then toward the end of the night, the homecoming royalty was announced.
“It was fun and an honor to be nominated let alone win.” said David Utagawa, freshman homecoming royalty, “It was a fun night!”
I thought the dance was so fun! I had a great night! One that I will definitely remember! I didn’t like getting stepped on by everyone’s heels but the dancing made up for it!
“I had fun and I liked the music. The vibes were good.” said senior Esha Bissessur, “It certainly was a night to remember.”
