Jet’s wide receiver suspended

Quincy Enunwa, New York Jets Wide Receiver, was suspended Monday for four games without pay by the NFL for violating the NFL’s personal conduct policy.

The suspension happened because an incident last year in 2014  where Quincy was arrested for assault on his girlfriend at a New Jersey Hotel. The domestic violence charges were eventually dropped. Quincy would have had a longer game suspension up to six games but had remorse and for his cooperation he had only a four game suspension. Quincy’s girlfriend decided not to engage in the matter and dismissed the case in last October. Quincy is not allowed to have contact with the woman for 90 days.

Quincy will be able to play again on Friday November 13 which will be the day the New York Jets play against the Buffalo Bills.
