“Draft Kings” is a fantasy sports multi-billion-dollar company. People all across the United States get together and create teams of pro players for tons of different sports. Every game a pro player if given points based off of their performance and each week people play someone different. Whoever comes out on top with the greater amount of points wins a certain amount of money.

Draft Kings are currently in the middle of a court case against the New York attorney general for illegal gambling. This case all started when an employee from Draft Kings released data on the player lineups. The employee released the data before the third week in the NFL games. Because he did this, he won 350,000 dollars on another fantasy sports website FanDuel. In 2013 and 2014, 90 percent of daily fantasy sports players complained to Draft Kings about lost money.

The New York attorney general demanded that Draft Kings stop taking money from people in the U.S. Not only is the New York attorney general taking down a big company such as Draft Kings but many other in the same industry such as Yahoo and FanDuel. It is very much possible that this court case will end up in the U.S. Supreme Court.
