Meet Annie Sanchez, a 15-year-old Freshman at Desert Vista. If you get to know Annie you would find out that she is a pianist that can play popular classic songs and Annie is still learning today. She has been playing the piano for 4 years. Annie says that she doesn’t know if she’ll play in her future and that she rates her piano skills a 7. 

“I think I’m pretty good,” Sanchez said. “I’ve been playing it for four years. I know how to play some popular songs like classical. And I still have more to learn, but I think I’m pretty good here.”

Annie is an athlete that plays a lot of sports, she does Karate outside of school, and in school she does softball. She has been learning Karate for 3 years and she said she has a purple belt. She also said she used to do basketball and soccer as well.

“Right now I just do karate,” she said.  “I’m going to try out for softball next quarter in the spring. And I used to do basketball and soccer too…I’ve been doing it for three years now and I’m a purple belt.”
